How Often Do Tokay Geckos Shed Their Skin

Like other geckos and lizards, Tokay geckos shed their skin. Shedding is a normal and an essential process for a healthy Tokay gecko. So why do Tokay geckos shed their skin? There are two reasons why they shed their skin, it is either they have to replace a damaged skin or they simply have out-grown their old skin.  Shedding their skin allows them to replace their old skin with a new one.
